Add Custom Fields

The Add User console also includes an additional tab labeled as- Add Custom Fields. This is as shown in the below screen-

It helps to add more details other than the ones available in default user module.

When an admin clicks on the tab, the system redirects to the Client Metadata Fields in a new tab as shown in the below screen-

The screen includes the following elements-

  • Label Text- Enter the desired name for custom label field. 
  • Label Data Type- It is a dropdown field. Select the desired value in accordance with the type of label text from the dropdown field as shown below-


  • Dropdown Values- The system activates this field if a user selects Dropdown or Multiple Dropdown for Label Data Type field. 
  • Character Limit- This field restricts the character limits under particular field. 
  • Mandatory- Check the checkbox if custom added fields are to be made mandatory to fill while creating individual users.

The console with sample entered data is shown in the below screen-

Click Submit button. The system will display the following message-

The submitted custom data will be displayed in the grid on the same console. This is as shown below-

Click button to edit the submitted custom values as shown in the below screen-

The system allows the user to edit all the fields. 

Click button to delete the entered custom fields. This as shown highlighted below-

The system will display a prompt message before deleting the data like the one as shown below-

Click OK button to delete the data. Click Cancel to stop the system from deleting the data.
